Having contributed massively to the title campaign, Italian club AC Milan wants to sign Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz, who is on loan from the Spanish side.
It is understood that the Serie A club is interested in making the loan deal a permanent one, although a purchase option was not included in the deal, they are keen on holding transfer negotiations with the Spanish giants and online casino newzealand are willing to deliver odds on the player final destination.
While Brahim wanting to succeed at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid will have to weigh their options of keeping him beyond the 2020/21 season or parting ways with him for a considerable amount.
Following his loan move to San Siro in the summer of 2020, Brahim had no troubles adapting to life in Italy as he quickly became a pivotal figure in Stefano Pioli’s starting eleven.
He has been able to register 25 appearances for Milan in all competitions, contributing four goals and two assists in the process. He had been sidelined due to injury in Milan’s last two matches.
Although he might not be as important as players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Rafael Leao, or Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Brahim remains important in Pioli’s team as he has completed 17 dribbles in the Serie A, which is a lot considering he has only been able to play for 700 minutes.
The Spain-born attacker moved to Santiago Bernabeu from English giants Manchester City during the winter transfer window in 2019 and he was only able to record 21 appearances which span across two seasons with the Spanish giants, he bagged two goals in the process.
The La Liga club has Karim Benzema, Lucas Vazquez, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Marco Asensio, and Eden Hazard bolstering their attack and with those attackers, Madrid decided to loan the player out for the 2020/21 campaign.
With the player still 21 years of age, Madrid planned on letting him get more experience with first-team football in Europe, with AC Milan being the best option for the player.
Brahim had previously confirmed to the media regarding his good relationship with Zinedine Zidane, he said: “Zidane and I have a special and mutual affection. The relationship between him and I is very good. Now that I am in Milan, we have less contact, but from time to time I receive a message from him.”
The report has it that the Italian club has made contact with Brahim’s family and has made their intentions of signing the player on a permanent deal known to them, with Madrid likely to consider selling the player for a fee of around €30 million, and Australia online casino is backing both teams with odds on their decision.
The forward’s performance in Italy didn’t go unnoticed in Spain, but the finances have been one thing the club is struggling with ever since the pandemic outbreak.
